While many in Cambodia dream of a better future, opportunities for formal employment are scarce—especially in rural and post-conflict areas. Families often rely on subsistence farming or informal labor, leaving young people with limited pathways to independence and women with even fewer options.

With a one-time gift of $100, you can provide someone with the opportunity to transform their life through vocational training. This donation funds the full cost for one individual to enroll in a 3–6 month training program in a skill that’s not only practical, but income-generating.

Training options may include:

  • Sewing and tailoring (with machine usage and pattern-making)

  • Organic farming and sustainable agriculture

  • Carpentry and small construction techniques

  • Cooking and food service

  • Small business management and marketing

These programs are run in partnership with local NGOs, artisans, and training centers. Participants graduate with not only a certificate, but also basic tools and mentorship to begin working, freelancing, or launching their own micro-business.

When pooled with support from other donors, your $100 contributes to a collective effort that’s changing lives: training 47 people in one cycle, giving them a dignified way to earn a living and support their families long-term.

Many graduates go on to open small tailoring shops, become farming trainers themselves, or start cooperatives that lift up entire villages. And for young women, these programs often represent their first step toward economic freedom and self-confidence.

This is more than training. It’s empowerment. It’s sustainability. It’s the kind of gift that keeps giving—generation after generation.
